The PADI Scuba Review is half day refresher, for when you haven't been diving for an extended period.
Here's how we run the scuba review at DJL Diving resort, Koh Tao.
First we'll give you a simple quiz, which refreshes your diving theory, recapping important diving concepts and safety procedures.
We'll run through the quiz with you, and re-teach any areas that you may have forgotten.
Next, we get on the dive boat and head to a shallow site, where we'll run through some shallow water diving skills to get you comfortable. We'll include skills such as:
Equipment Assembly
Pre-dive safety check
Deep water entry
Descents
Mask clearing
Regulator clearing
Alternate Air source procedures
Buoyancy Control
Ascents
Once you're comfortable in shallow water, we'll make two open water dives, on two different dive sites to complete your scuba review.
We'll stick to a maximum depth of about 18 metres, checking out the great corals and marine life that Koh Tao has to offer.
Typical dive sites are the Japanese Gardens, Twins, or White Rock near Koh Nangyuan.
