Course Contents

The wreck diver specialty lets you get to grips with the special considerations of shipwreck diving.

In the academic content we'll discuss special equipment requirements, environmental concerns specific to wreck diving plus cover some important safety rules.

Underwater you'll get to survey the outside of a wreck, creating a dive site map covering points of interest, specfic hazards, possible entry points and other key features. You'll get used to using a reel as a distance line over the wreck, and have the option to perform a limited penetration by the end of the course.

The wreck specialty dives will be conducted using our rapid 6M RIB. Great fun!
